I e-mailed the seller asking to see the internal tag and have received no reply. I also directly asked if this was the original Les Paul gold paint with the real bronze metal flake
again no reply. The bass appears to be in great condition and I am sure he has set a high reserve to test the market. It would be really cool if this was the real deal. 
Here is the type of patina I would expect to see on a bass this old even if it was kept in a closet for 35 years. Also note the layers of primer before the gold paint. Both TV-1 basses in our collection were finished in the same way primer layers.
I love when stuff like this makes it to the open market if nothing else to download the picture and keep track of these details for future reference.
