Anyone who would spend $225.00 on a pair of freaking sunglasses has no business complaining about how expensive B.B. King tickets are.

Sunglasses make one look like a pretentious jerk. No exception.
mine didn't used to be,and i rarely wore them, but now they are .....and they gotta last for a while yet,so pretentious jerk it is...,.....oh well,i been called worse
Luxotica bought the Ray Ban name and now manufactures them in Italy. My current pair and a previous pair are/were of the rubberized nylon variety and have withstood unspeakable abuse. I bought a plastic pair in between and those broke in short order.
Since my first pair in the 80s, I've ALWAYS had a pair of Ray Bans!

my tascos had the around the ear,and for motorcycles they were t--s.....i wonder if that mail order place is still there,or if you're now dealing with chuck or ed from mumbai....I still have a pair of Ray Bans from 1989. They are basically a pair of Large Aviator IIs with a proper length set of "hook around your ear" earpieces on them. They were assembled from parts by a mail-order house (Google it young ones) back in the day.
I don't care what people think of them. The huge lenses are very high quality and they work. They are my main driving sunglasses.

My eyes are very sensitive to light, so I wear sunglasses whenever I am outside during the day.

Must be a regional French thing with you. Here in sunny SoCal we were them a lot. Plus we have a lot of ocean sports here. Surfing, sailing, bright sandy beaches and so on. If you are not wearing sunglasses your eyes will hurt at the end of the day. I love my Ray Bans and wear them almost daily. TIP: If you can not handle sunglasses, then don't visit SoCal cause you feel very uncomfortable here with all the pretentious jerks surrounding you.

Maybe they can put something together for you.
But I am willing to bet that you don't think other people around you who do wear sunglasses are pretentious jerks. Just sayin.Stewie, i was born and raised here, blocks away from the beach, and I never wear sunglasses. Like I said, I wore them for a couple of weeks in high school and then ditched them. I don't feel uncomfortable here. To each his own.![]()

OK. To each their own.He said, "look like" pretentious jerks, not "are" pretentious jerks.
And I have always thought they look a bit silly.
