Ray Brown gets his 10,000 steps!

I know many say the bass guitar is an inferior instrument for swinging, walking bass lines. I think Ray Brown makes a very strong argument to the contrary on this recording.

I made a mistake, for some reason I thought this was Chuck Rainey.

Walking in Space swings between literally swinging and a late Sixties boogaloo sort of groove. I think it is a wonderful period piece fifty or so years after the initial recording.
