I played one gig with two of those boxes and couldn't dial in a sound I could use. I ended up with just one on the floor and that was pretty decent. I'm sure if I had time I could have dialed in something but I didn't.
If you are looking for "coverage" without the pileup of the coupling you could try separating them on the bandstand somehow. Maybe either side of the drum kit like a Metal band. Or one near you and one in front of you.
