Realtime Soundtrack Editing

Hey Guys,

I have a dilemma...

I have a friend who is a college choir director that uses soundtracks. No, that's not the dilemma, although it should be. I hate them.

My problem is that he sometimes likes to go back into the song if he's getting a good crowd response. That, of course, is why he should have a band. He, however, likes his soundtracks because he was having to change musicians every year and sometimes the talent was sometimes not that talented... lol

So... back to my problem.

Does anybody know of any software or method of being able to hit a button and be able to go to any part of a song?

In other words, he's nearly at the end of the last chorus, but wants to go back the second verse. So, ideally, he has a console to his side and hits the verse two button and the chorus transitions into the second verse instead of the ending.

I realize you would have to customize your soundtrack, but in this instance, it wouldn't be a problem.

Sorry for the long post. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Ryan
