Hi Justin

I have a few questions for you related with reamp with DI
You make recordings through a D.I. at your home studio and after that, when you go to the studio you reamp your signal in order to experiment with different cabs and heads?
Do you like this method or you need to hear an specific amp when you are recording? This method affects the pulsation or tone?

I've done that a handful of times, but usually I just have a DI and an amp together. Usually I don't have the patience, and would rather simply commit to something right on the spot. I can't really just record through a DI. It's sadly lacking in color, life, and the tactile feedback an amp provides.

It´s like i imagined, the tactile feel is different and worst with just a D.I. but another thing... if you recorded with one amp and you want to change the amp choose during a mix (for example) reamp is a good solution, knowing the fact that different amps have different "tactile feel"? As a engineer this seems a good solution but maybe it´s not the better from musician perspective...
