Received Some Random Love from Bass Player Magazine ...

"Random" selection is the only explanation, but I thought it was kind of neat all the same.

Quite a few months back, I submitted for both the "Dig My Rig" and "The Real World" sections of Bass Player Magazine. Of course, it's just something you do and then sort of forget since what are the odds your submission is going to be noticed?

Actually, my odds were pretty good it seems.

I bought the January issue off newsstand this past weekend and Bass Player Magazine selected my submission for "Dig My Rig" in that issue. Cool!

Today my local store received the February issue (Jack Bruce tribute issue) and there I am in "The Real World" section. LOL ... total luck, pretty funny. I almost feel like a real musician now.

Oh yeah, and I've since taken out a 2-year subscription to the magazine!

I was quoted in the magazine from a statement I made on the Bassplayer forum, The Lowdown Low Down.
I had a real laugh though because they attributed me as Basshappi so much for my 15 minutes of fame!
