Well, after almost 20 years of TB membership I have finally summoned the courage to ask what may be a really dumb question: what is the difference between "new posts" and "recent posts" in the navigation bar. Even I can figure out what a new post is, but assuming that "recent posts" includes "new posts" what additional threads are displayed there? The difference is not apparent to me...
