Recommend a simple voice processor

I'm not much of a singer but I have 15yo and 17yo daughters who are in choir and sing pretty well. Right now I am running a SM58 into an Art tube preamp and running that into the effects return of my Workingman's 12 bass amp. I'm actually surprised at how will that works but it is very sterile. That amp is pretty linear. I have a passive mixer if I want to add more mic's. I actually have 4 different mics. I don't have the resources to add much music gear right now but I would like to buy a pedal that my girls can use to make their voice sound better. Cost is an issue so < $200.
I am looking pretty hard at the TC Helicon - Mic Mechanic for $150
After watching this Invalid Link Removed and a couple others it looks like what I'm after. However I know nearly nothing about these products so I am hoping someone here can help me out.

try the boss ve-20 or boss ve-5 the ve-20 is in pedal form so is really good it you are playing guitar and want to turn the effects on via your foot . I own one and I would recommend them as they are loaded with effects such as harmonies and doubling reverb and many more . by the way how did your brews and bass get together got the other week? did you get the basses all connected to the amp via the mixer?

The Bass and Brews session (I'm calling it that from now on)went well. Before I get jumped on it is more bass than brews. We had enough amps and it what super fun. My friend is a retired electrical engineer and you should see the crazy tube stuff he creates. He calls it Gonzo Engineering. Sonically it is more SilverTone than Mesa Boogie if you get my drift. All parts are salvaged that IS the game for him. Everything, tubes, speakers, luggage....All from goodwill or garage sales or donations.

I have an iRig Pro for recording bass and it works for a Mic also. I haven't considered running my phone into the mixer then into my amp.
The Boss VE -20 is a bit outside of my price range $280.00 but it does look cool. I'm not really looking for effects, just want the vocals to sound better, and I know compression, eq and reverb are effects but they are so fundamental as to be always on and not a capital "E" Effect. Slight pitch correction would help me though. I haven't put in the time singing to hit all the notes just right.

try ebay you may be able to find a used ve-20 , otherwise a real good option would be a Behringer FEX 800 ,and I see them on ebay for under $160.00 new . it has all the effects you will need to help your vocals , well all apart from a drinks dispenser!!!

I like the look of the Gonzo engineering amp , what does it sound like? how many watts does it pump out ? it looks like something that came out of a 1950s sifi movie . maybe flash Gordon !! haha
