Recommend Bass For Small Hands

Do you have small -hands- or short fingers?

I have short fingers. Sadly, I'll never ever be able to do a 4 fret stretch in some places on the neck, even with good hand position, because my fingers are just too short to reach.

But meh, I digress. I'm 5'4'', have very small hands/fingers, and play 35' 5 string. I make do, and can do what I need to. It's not so much neck width that bothers me but neck thickness. I need a pretty flat neck for it to be comfortable. Wide necks are no issue, really, but flatness because of short fingers helps a lot because it's less space between my fingers, palm, and fretboard when it's all said and done.

But yeah, like others have said, try a few Ibanez basses. And then try some with wider necks, too. I would advise that you stay away from really thick necks (aka baseball bat necks) as those tend to be the most difficult to adjust to when you have smaller hands IMHO.
