recommend me some pups

I have an Ibanez SR405 loaded with the standard DX5 pups. And I was playing on my other bass (tanglewood Warrior III) and I realised the output level on the SR405 is very low compared to the Warrior.

So can u recommend me a set of pups that i could get (preferably from the UK and preferably not to expencive)

The issue may be more due to the preamp than pickups, although there is no doubt that some pickups are wound quieter than others. So, there are preamps like bartolini that have an adjustable amount of input gain.

I don't know if your bass is active or passive, so I can't say for sure whether that's the issue.

If you're fully intent on changing the pickups, EMG's should fit your routes.

My bass is active, which is why i was shocked that the out put is low

active doesn't necessarily have to mean higher output. Aguilar preamps with eq flat will put out same volume as passive.
