Recommendations for Gretsch 2202?

Just bought a used Gretsch 2202(short scale, single humbucker), and was wondering what strings might work well.

My first thought was to try GHS Pressurewounds -- I like them on my Mikro -- but I'd like to hear from other folks who have played this bass.

I briefly had one with labella flats. They're great strings, but they were a bit too thumpy and didn't have much definition. Pressurewounds are always a great choice.
