Recording and soundcards

Hello.

What gear would I need to make recordings of this quality?



He claims he was simply going from his bass > Sansamp BDDI > Soundcard.

I just have an old Soundblaster Audigy Soundcard... doubt it is ideal but I know nothing about getting quality recordings.
