Recording in Garageband

After playing around with Garageband on an iPad at Best Buy I decided that I'm going to be buying an ipad soon. I'm trying to find a cord to go from the XLR out on the M80 into an ipad recording device for Garageband. Any recommendations?

I use the Apogee Jam, and have zero complaints (other than it not handling the output as well).

Apogee. It comes with everything you need. The others usually make you buy 2 or 3 different things just to get up and running.

I ended up going with the iriffport, fit my budget better and it works well, little to no noise, no latency and easy to use. It's upsetting not having bass amps in Garageband but I got a great tone out of the Modern Marshall Stack.

^^GB has a coupla bass amps built in, you just gotta dig for them.

Don't forget to add Audiobus to your device. If you're not happy with the bass amps in GarageBand, you can use Audiobus to link a different app for bass sims, like Jamup. Audiobus should be on every iOS device used for audio, no question.

Dude! Thanks for pointing that out. Now I can record from Amplitube into Garageband.
