Recording myself live

Hi all,

If have a few performances coming up where I cannot bring a laptop and sound interface to record myself and band.

Wondering how you record yourselves live using video, smart phones? These dont seem to pick up the bass. Any suggestions on how to place these?

I also have a Zoom H4 (audio only). Where would you suggest I place this on stage?

You might have a crappy smartphone mic, so plug in an external one.

Zoom will definitely work, put it in as wide of omni mode as you can get, and play around with the placement.
