I strongly feel that a maintaining a practice log is integral to practicing efficiently. I also feel that having a public practice log both keeps one accountable, as well as offering others the ability to critique what you're practicing. I wish there was a Practice Log section to the forums to not clog up another another section - moderators may feel free to move this wherever they feel would be more appropriate. I propose to break down my practice in the following five sections, setting weekly goals and updating the post for each week, for ease of organization.

Week #/Year

Goals:
  • Fretboard Visualization & Application
    • EB
    • DB
  • Technique, Facility & Articulation
    • EB
    • DB
  • Groove & Time
    • EB
    • DB
  • Theory
    • EB
    • DB
  • Genre Studies
    • EB
    • DB
  • Other

Notes:

  • Miscellaneous notes

I'd be interested to see what source materials you plan to use. For example, many of the aspects you identify do not need to be worked in isolation if you use 'graded' pieces of actual music (rather than scale bibles, generic exercises or the like) as the basis of your goals.
