This is a really cool bass. It's a custom fretless Willis bass. The only thing original is the neck which is 3pc maple and actual ebony (not plastic) fingerboard. The neck is from an early GWB-35. It was originally fretted and converted to fretless by jay pawar

Would consider trade for Aguilar Tonehammer 500, no other trades
specs:
- Bartolini BRP59CBJD-S1 Classic Jbass Dual Coil pickup
- Bartolini 918 preamp
- volume, bass/treble, master tone
- Gotoh Ultralight
- 7lbs
- includes gig bag
- I have ramp or original body/preamp/pickup but they are not included. I would toss them in for another $100 but you will have to pay shipping and they would be sent in a separate shipment.
- swamp ash body, lacquer finish
Issues:
- During the build, the bit came out of the chuck and one of the body holes had to be patched (see last photo). By the way, the photo looks like the patch is sunken down below the level of the back. That's not the case. It's flush but the stain Jay used to enhance the grain also enhanced the patch and made it look 3d.
- The fretlines are not perfect. The worst one is highlighted in the next to last photo. There are a few other ones that don't look great but they are not as bad this one. However, they do not effect the playing or the tone.
