The 2017 Rickenbacker 4003 in Walnutglo. This is part of a special run of basses ordered by Chicago Music Exchange last year. The finish is reminiscent of the uncommon Autumnglo finish for 4001 basses and Montezuma Brown finish for 4003 basses of prior years.
The details are what set this one apart - checkered binding and gold sparkle name plate and pickguard. Naturally, it sounds as good as it looks. It’s simply fantastic by every measure. It’s comfortable to play, has the signature Ric growl (both modern and vintage tone circuits), and will become a collector’s item in a few years.
This one is dead mint. No issues whatsoever. No nicks, dings, scratches, nothing. Comes with case and case candy.
