$167 shipped for a set of Reed James RJ Neo Split Blade pickups. EMG 40 casing.

These are staggered split coils, similar to a reverse P-bass. But inside an EMG 40 soapbar.

Tone is punchy and crunchy. A great balance between vintage warmth and modern articulation. Everything is just "right". No harshness.

The tone here is kind of addictive. These pickups should be used on a 5 string.

Do you know if the magnets inside are set up as standard P or reverse P like the EMGs ?

Pretty sure its setup like a Standard P

I will triple check tonight. You can tell by lightly dragging a paperclip across the top of the pickup.

Hey! These are like a reverse P under the covers!

Do you know or can you tell where the magnets are split? Just wanted to make sure it wasn't divided in the center where the A string would be on a 5er. Should be 3 and 2 setup

Sorry, I forgot about this post.

These are meant for a 5 string. Not an even split in the middle.
