OK. So I bought my first ever high end bass. It's a 93' Vette Proline and it definitely shows signs of wear. (got a real good price on it)
It's a 2 piece clear maple body with some light figuring. It has some dings and wear around the front pickup. Warwicks, IMO, aren't really one of those basses that you want to look reliced. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to strip the body down, give it a decent sanding up to 800, apply a new stain, and clear coat?
What do you guys think?
