Regarding Planet Soldier JB

Hello guys! I haven't actually touched bass before and have decided to get one. Since my budget is really low, I looked around for decent deals for cheap basses, and I came across this. I don't mind having not-so-great sound since I'm just starting anyway.

I know Rakuten is a reputable Japanese website, but I can't help but wonder why the whole set is so cheap. Can anyone who can read Japanese here tell me if the bass itself is included in the set or is it just the accessories? Is it a scam or not?

And are Planet Soldier JB and Great JB different stuff?

If anyone has any experience with this, I'd be grateful if you can tell me about these.

Thanks! (:

Looks like everything comes with it, but depending on where you're at, it might be better just to go with something like an SX. With this route, there is no one that you can easily turn to if something is wrong with the order.

That's not to say it's not worth a shot, and hopefully some TBers who have dealt with the site before will chime in. Still, it might be more worthwhile to take a less risky route.

I see, thanks for the input. And apparently, I won't be getting it after all, since the shipping is practically the same price as the bundle itself LOL.

Oh, and since we're at this, which SX model would you recommend for a beginner?

Any of them would be great for your purposes. SX is pretty well acknowledged for offering good quality at a good price. They even have packages just like what you were looking at, with an amp, strap, and accessories. Kurt provides great customer service, too. Are you located in the U.S?

What do you think of this?

That one doesn't seem to come with an amp though it does come with a gig bag and accessories.

Oh, thanks a lot, maybe I'll get it. I'm not located in the US but perhaps I can have it shipped to some relatives who are located there.

Thanks for the help guys. (:
