first of all if this isnt in the right place feel free to move it...

but just outta curiousity do any of you do wierd things at practice/rehersal?

we're a very relaxed, heavily improv based (origionals and covers) we actually broke out into a 10 minute (almost) imprpov jam in the middle of aeroplane the other day ...but we just break out into improved grooves in between song or whenever we feel like but what usually happens, karl (singer/guitarist) will break out the nearest book, last 2 i can remember the klingon dictionary and one of don bourkes gardening books, he'll pick a random page and read/rap it out to the groove, its bloody hilarious, he's talking of taking the klingon dictionary to a gig one night and have the improv klingon rap ...

so is it just us or are there other freaks out there?

Goofing around is what makes practice fun! Our singer/guitarist likes to make up short silly songs sometimes or change a lyric in one of our songs. Recently they'be been about Star Wars (the character IG88 to be exact) because he and our drummer are Star Wars geeks and the DVD set just came out.

In our last band the singer was not all that good, so we encouraged audience participation. We once had a really drunk friend of mine reciting Ovid in latin while we jammed.
