Relayer Bass?

There's more on the Davis site now. Click on "Basses" and you get the following models:

I like the first three: Astro, Relayer & Firefox. Stryder is cool, too, if you're going for a conventional tuning system.

Dealing with them through fecalbrook is a total turn-off. Hopefully the webpage improves rapidly.

I have the same feeling about businesses that work primarily through their fbook pages - I cancelled my real id on that blasted "rat out your friends for corporate commercial gain" thing years ago. But I found I needed to create a fake one attached to a dead email address just to be able to see what the (bleep) is going on. I will not intentionally do any business with that company otherwise, I think their entire business model is an unethical scam. But hey, that's just me.

I couldn't get any specifics from that guy, and I finally tracked down the builder who will be making these - that page is also blank. Also, you currently have to order through their FB page. :rollno: I've lost interest, but for anyone curious -

Chrome says that page contains malware now, fwiw. Guess it wasn't just his talkbass id that tanked...

Thanks for the responses, all. I've yet to find something online that isn't a Photoshop prototype of these basses. Not sure if they actually exist. From the looks of things it seems they are fictitious. Too bad, the designs are really cool slants on the super-awesome Kubicki template.

I was at the debut of the relayer bass at the bass bootcamp in philly. I can reassure you it does exist and plays great. I have no information about the builder or Tom who plays it and was giving information on the bass. I'd say though that if you ever get a chance to play one of the relayer basses give it a shot. its unique and has a lot to offer a player.

This photo (not photoshop) shows four Relayers; I like orange, but still prefer the white Relayer.
That heel area could use some rounding/smoothing.

They exist in some space-time continuum...

Hello Everyone, I'm back. Talkbass has a very well moderated and strict policy for Commercial Users (also known as CUP). In an exchange with one TBer a moderator believed that I violated that policy, so I was "banned" for a couple of weeks. Its happened to the best of us, just ask Jimmy M.

The bass is in fact in production, and there are several as pictured (Thanks Feline). Videos are still in the work, and will be done by Nashville recording artist and bass player for Innocent Monday Jaymi Millard to begin. For more info, feel free to PM me.

Have a great day!

Welcome back! Happy to hear they're happening.

Good to hear! I subscribed to Bass Jaymi's YT a while back, he has interesting reviews of some cool 80's basses.

Glad you are back. I guess it can be a thin line between providing information and marketing, but I think we should welcome vendors and their input.
