Double Bass Removing gasoline odor from a bass bag

i had a bass bag stored in my garage for a good while and now it smells kinda like gasoline. No gasoline spilled on it, just a matter of a gas can also being stored there.

Any ideas on how to get rid of the odor?

Hang it out in the sun and let it outgas. After a few days sprinkle it with baking soda if necessary, seal it in a garbage bag and clean with a Shop-Vac.
