Removing stickers--suggestions?

get a start on peeling it back, then spray WD-40 in between the sticker and the body, let it soak some.. then peel again.. then spray again.. do this until the stickers are off..

then use some windex to clean the WD-40 off the body.. then use some guitar polish on it..

;)

There's a citrus based sticker remover I've used for years on all sorts of surfaces Including Poly finished instruments. Even for removing stickers off paper. If your patient the stuff is like magic.

Goo Gone, and the same companies sticker lifter stuff both work equally well. A litle windex or similar after to clean up.

The above is really good - I've found that "Goof Off" is the best.:hyper:

Most types of non-automotive oil work perfectly for me. I've used olive oil, vegetable oil, baby oil, and hair oil depending on what was closest to me and they all work great. All you have to do is dip a q-tip or small paintbrush in the stuff and paint the sticker. You don't need to much but get a good enough amount to cover the entire sticker, then just let it soak in for 10-30mins and the sticker should come right off without leaving any residue.

I actually found this out trying to get stickers off of my video game cases. I like the simplicity and convenience, everybody has this stuff lying around somewhere so you don't need to spend any extra cash or anything.
