Repair chips on ebonol fretboard

Hi, i've bought a Kramer 250b (aluminium neck) that was defretted. There are many chips on the fretboard. I know that it's possible repair chips on wood fretboards with glue and wood dust, but i don't know how repair an ebonol fretboard. I suppose that it's necessary the same material (but where i can get it?), and maybe specific glue. If anyone has done a similar work would suggest to me the appropriate method and the appropriate materials? Surely the best thing would be to take the bass to a luthier, but it's very expensive here in Italy and the work it seems to me very particular (such as the kramer necks). Before of this solution i would try to do the work by myself with a little chip at the end of the fretboard. Excuse me for my english.

Dang, thats rough. Looks like someone just got a good grip and ripped those suckers out. Im thinking that regardless of method thatll porbably show through in a lot of places (unless you do the entire board). Black epoxy or something similar would porbably work well.

I would say coat the fingerboard in black epoxy and sand it back to the original board unless you don't want the lines or markers.

Black epoxy or Black Fiberpoxy if you can find it. Maybe some System 3 with Mixol black pigment, or use the "steel" epoxy and mix with regular epoxy to get a black-er color.

Thanks for the answers. I think i'll try with black epoxy on a little chip and then i'll decide if it's better to take the bass to a luthier.
