Hello,
I have a mixed solid front and back and ply ribs double bass that suffers a lot from being carted around daily, and that's not going to stop.
I'm looking for ideas on how best to repair / strengthen its edges. As you can see from the photos, these are worn and the wood is cracking along the grain.
What can I do? Apply some glue? Add putty? Any suggestions (particularly with examples of materials to use) gladly received.
There's also a chunk out of one of the violin corners too, so any ideas for that?
Thanks very much
