Replacement J pickup for Yamaha RBX 800 - options?

Hey folks,

I just found out that the J pickup in my fretless RBX 800 is shot and needs a replacement. Just about any standard sized J will fit, but I'm hoping to find something similar in tone to the original (or complementary to the original P), in hopes of avoiding having to replace them both. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

I think I am in the same boat with my RBX800 (with frets!)... Had to redo the wiring since previous owner did something that was cutting the volume output of the bass, and now the rear pickup is NOISY. At least the bass is loud now...
