Replacement Pickups

I have an old Aria Pro II TSB-400. I was curious about getting new pickups for the bass. Looking around on the internet I havent seen anything like the Aria Pickups...I could be wrong though. I saw one thread on a different site where the one guy found another beat up Aria and transplanted the pickups. Any better ideas than that?

I'm actually making a replacement for someone for one of those basses. An EMG-40 size pickup fits in there.
