Replacing Passive Curcuitry with Active.

Hi everyone,
I have a Spector NS2000B bass which is suffering from a lame stock pick-up, dirty pots and a very dodgy jack input. I have taken it all out and im now left with a blank canvas.
It was previously a passive design but I'd like to add an EMG 35DC (Link Removed)

along with a BTC EQ (Link Removed)

I will also be buying a new stereo jack barrel.

Can anyone give me and help with the circuitry i need to achieve or point me toward any simple to understand diagrams. I can solder without any problems but knowing what to solder to what may be a problem.

Any help would be great!
thanks
