Replacing pickups, need help and advice.

I'm wondering if I could replace this Ibanez p-up from this guitar:

With an mb-1 pickup like this:
[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
Yes, I'd cut out from the wood somehow..
My questions are:
1. Anyone knows the sizes of these pickups?
2. It can be done, right?
3. Anything I need to know before jumping on it?

Anything is possible but why?
What do you expect from this match-up?
Does the Ibanez pickup have a preamp in it?
The tone is significantly different. The MB-1 pickup is very mid range or nasally. Though the mass of onboard electronics might make that a moot point. Then again, the MB-1 tone might be entirely lost.
