I'm trying to replace potentiometers in my washburn mb-4 bass. The previous owner tore them all to hell and left the bass in bad shape. I set it up really good got a friend to give it a real nice paint job, re strung it and it sounds great! However, with the pots broken inside it, it really makes it hard to experience the bass to it's full potential. However, I ordered 3 pots, one a 500k for volume and 2 25k's for tone control (considering it's active.) MY new problem is the pots I received have the three prongs that extend from the body, and they have open holes in them. I know thats where the wires go, but i'm confused as to whether or not solder them or just tie them to it. Any ideas?
