Hi. I haven't been here in awhile and had to create a new account. I did alot of playing,practice, giging, and GASing over the years. I'm 59 and I took a break. Did some other things while I could. My son learned to play bass in the meantime on his own with little instruction other than watching me and YouTube. He's been using one of my American specials for several years now. Buys new strings. Anyway he made a deal on a used Bass from Facebook marketplace and I want see if it was a deal. Or not. Im fairly good at used values for mainstream stuff especially Fenders. This brand and model I'm not very familiar. Its a Dean. So I remember model specific "clubs"on here that should help. That's where im headed next. The Dean owners place. Without getting in to it here I will say I suspect he has a early Korean or custom. Seller got it handed down some years before and didn't know much. I can't match it with anything in catalogs or on the wall. Im pretty sure he didn't get taken giving $300 for something that's looks neck through. Well see. Thanks, have a good morning.
