Hello, I took some time off from lurking here to learn to sing with my band. We are probably losing our bassist after December 31.
That means I will more than likely need to learn to play bass, on the Ubass, as I’m in an ukulele band.
I’ve never played any kind of bass before, but my wife says it’s not hard to learn the bassics.
Any suggestions? I’m 70 years old, and a mediocre ukulele player.
Thanks!

Thanks for your replies, what I am actually looking for are online places to go for free or low cost beginner instructors. I can borrow a Ubass, don’t wanna buy one until I know if I’m capable and if I like it.
I can recommend Stephan Cox. Met him on the UBassFreaks Facebook group.
