reverb - rack vs footswich

Hi!

I'm looking for a good reverb to spice up my tone a bit, but instead of pedal, I'd rather use rack effect. I love to play with my tone so all aditional options of rack units sount great. Also, rack effects are somehow cheaper than footswiches (I don't get this)...
What would you recommend, what do you think of rack effects? :)

btw there are two units I'm looking at, Lexicon MX200 and TCE M350.
