Read something about you guys having problems with loss of signal while using the holy grail somewhere on this forum.

i just bought a boss RV 5 today, which im gonna return tomorrow cause it lacks the springy quality that i liked so much about the holy grail.
later i discovered that they have another model, called holy grail plus, that features a blend function, so you apparently keep your lows.
have anybody tried it? JMJ? I really love the holygrail, and i would by the plus version, as long as its reasonable priced, and sounds as good as the 'real' holy grail.

and while we are at it, bought a clone theory, just because i read somewhere that it was how peter hook got his chorus.. sounds awesome!

and besides that, im really enjoying sea changes. big fan.

Thanks on Sea Change, I am very proud of that work, it is sheer pleasure every time I get acknowleged for that.

Hooky did/does indeed rock the Clone Theory, that is THE sound.

I don't know about the Holy Grail Plus, but that would be good, because that signal loss problem is exactly my problem with the regular Holy Grail!

While not pedals, the Lexicon MX200 and the old Alesis Quadraverb GT are quality affordable reverbs. Both can be had for under $200 and although I've primarily used them as auxillary units on an analog mixing board, the Lexicon works quite well with bass. Couple it with a Sansamp DI, and I don't think that there will be much loss in the low end. Dual reverbs are just too useful to not have in the home studio! =)

Sea Change is great btw. The structures and overall bpm remind me of something from an older time period. Maybe France in the sixties. The bass work is stunning and I really enjoy the videos that accompany the songs.
