For sale Reverend Mercalli 5

Reverend Mercalli 5 string bass for sale in a somewhat rare color combo. Coffee Burst with a Maple Fretboard. This thing is an amazing player that weighs in around 8.5 lbs. It is all stock and in good condition. The body is clean with no major scratches, dings or gouges. I bought this bass used and at some point prior to my ownership it must have taken a ding to the bottom edge of the neck. It has been sanded smooth and you can't see it in the playing position but it is discolored where the repairs were made. I cannot feel it at all when playing and the neck has been super stable and has no other issues. Please see the photos. B string is strong and clear sounding.

I have just set this up with brand new Dunlop Super Brights (Steel 45-125) and it plays great. It comes with a good looking Reverend Tuxedo style case. The case does have some minor tolex damage but is clean and fully functioning. The bass is priced lower based on the cosmetic neck damage.

Reverend Mercalli basses are big and deep sounding. The tone is especially killer in the upper registers. I have played this bass regularly at my church gig and it always plays and sounds great.
