Review of cable components

So I believe I had this all figured out. Have been planning to buy a bass and total setup. However had some unforeseen financial woes. And finally ready to finalize my purchases.

So, I have forgotten some the details of the cord requirements!

What is the specific term for the cable which runs from the bass to the amp head? Is it an 'instrument cable'? I am getting a clean head from Darkglass.

So then, it's a 'speaker cable', which runs from the amp head to the cabinet, correct?

And what is the name of the cable which runs from the amp head to the effects petal? Is it also a 'speaker cable'?

I am getting Microbes Infinity as an effects module. Apologies, but back when I first played Bass, never had an effects pedal. Does the bass plug directly into the amp head? Or does it connect to the effects pedal? In either case, it would utilize an 'instrument cable', correct?

Any alternate and/or better terms for these cords would be appreciated.

Also, any other accessories which might be suggested!

Not necessarily, if there is an effects loop in the amp(and if there is a DI out post-loop). You have the option of placing modulation and time based effects in the loop, perhaps even additional EQ if desired. Before the amp, that is, in between bass and amp, you still would/could have stuff like compression, octave or pitch bend, dirt, filter, wah, boost, synth oriented, alternate EQ…whatever the player deems useful.

You can buy legit Neutrik Speakon and other connectors on Amazon. Just stay away from the imitation and "lookalike" stuff.

Haha I would actually like to go with Rattlesnake cords... do you happen to know the turnaround time? I ask because I might just go with monster cables for now, since they've got em at the local guitar center (and I understand they are very high quality as well (suggested to me by email by Darkglass rep)

No connection. Just a pleased customer.

I ordered a couple cables on a Saturday afternoon and received them on Monday. From Bozeman, MT to Austin, my best guess is they barely made it to the post before closing. Have ordered several times and never been more than 3 days.
