Okay, everyone has heard enough of my bitching about not being able to afford my silly-expensive dream gear, so here's what: I'm gonna give away two sets of string to any talkbass member who can tell me where to get a build it yourself (warmoth-style) CNC manufacturer who offers a bass body identical to the sadowsky M5-24. Do not post here, contact me direct.

    Sincerely,
    Broke-ass Bassist

  2. speaking of warmoth,
did you see the Deluxe 5 "51" model?
    that looks pretty similar...

the body styles are quite simmilar, but the pickup and knob placements are way different

I think he covered that with "bitching about not being able to afford my silly-expensive dream gear"

    Uh, oh yeah. Never mind.

  8. yeah, i was actually just looking at the top and bottom horns...the rest of the body could probably just be a fender style "rest-of-the-body" as for the pickup routes and the control layout, i bet you warmoth can change that to your specs...

  9. Actually Warmoth doesn't do one-off customs as far as I know. However USA Customs might.

I enquired about a one-off custom neck and they said they'd do it, but it would cost me an arm, leg and the left nut. They may do it if you're willing to pay.
