Rib13 Bass (and Weirdness) YouTube Channel

Three months ago I was heavy into recording and stumbled into a bad case of Writers Block. So I redirected my focus into a YouTube channel about bass guitars and music related anecdotes mostly based on my own history. Today, I reached my first milestone: 100 Subscribers. Thank You to everyone that subbed. Its very fun to do but all the editing is time consuming

Looks like a great bass, especially for the price you paid for it. The EMG PUs alone would cost more than that new.

My two nitpicks are:
- it has a classic element with a top mounted control plate which aesthetically puts in in no man's land, and
- string thru makes no tension difference vs top mount. I have basses strung both ways and I'm not sure if I like it or not, but it wouldn't sway me with the purchase either way.

Oh, and it needs another string.

Thanks, I enjoyed this review too.

Thanks for the correction Snert. On my basses with both options, the bridge option always feels ever-so-slightly less tense...but as you pointed out: probably a tactile illusion

...and, dang! the control plate was a total bone of contention with me when doing the video! I didnt know how to address it so I just left it out thinking "Meh...nobody will comment on it" lol

Excellent! I've only watched (2) vids so far, but--Great playing & very funny commentary.

Keep 'em coming!

OK- I give- What's RIB stand for?

Wow! Thank you so very much

The name was a suggestion from a family member who has an anomaly of having 13 ribs. She thought the name Rib13 was a good username and suggested I use it.......... I hadnt come up with a name yet, so I obliged
