I bought this wonderful bass brand new in mid 2005. It came in a gig bag so I called and spoke with Barry at Turner Guitars about getting an Ameritage hardshell case for it which he sent me (it wasn't cheap but I have had these before and they are well worth the cost). While talking with Barry I asked him about the wood knobs on it for the volume and tone controls as all other Renaissance basses I had seen (or owned) up to then had the standard metal knobs on them. He told me the bass was from the NAMM Show (this is all I know about that, I assume the 2005 NAMM Show as the serial number indicates a 2005 build...).
Other than the Turner lion logo and wood headplate this is all pretty standard issue except for the gorgeous figured walnut body and beautifully silking on the cedar top. The preamp is a D-Tar with two 9V batteries.
I'd prefer a local sale (or I can drive a reasonable distance to meet with you) as the case is rather large and I do not know if I have the shipping box for it still.
$1500 plus shipping (if necessary); I will offer a substantial discount for a local sale.

The white "marks" you see on the body are just reflections from the drum set.
Edit: price drop for local cash pickup. If you can arrange for someone to pickup the bass with cash in hand:$1000!
