Rickenbacker 4001C64S, how long and when?

Hello All,

I been looking all over for information on the 4001C64S P. McCartney model. I know they are now discontinued but does anyone know the production begin and end dates?

According to the excellent Rickenbacker book by @PaulBoyer , they were produced from 2002 to 2011.

According to the excellent Rickenbacker book by @PaulBoyer , they were produced from 2002 to 2011.

There are production dates on all Rick bass models in the book. It is set up in chronological order of the model's introductory dates. Except for the "certified" limited and signature editions, there are no production numbers though. Those have never been released by the company.
