Everything is a fretless if you want invest the time and/or money. If they offered that in fretless I'd be sorely tempted. I'd put a different color pickguard on it, though.

never understood why rickenbacker don't make more custom colours available.
i wish i could visit that store.Andy's Fab Gear
A fretless 4001 was the nicest fretless I have ever played! I would acquire a fretless 4003 if Rickenbacker made them again.Fretless Rics are most peculiar animals. Not a big market.*
*Don’t get me wrong; I have one, but there’s still not a big market for them.
Oh, no! I love the slim horns. And the sharp curve on the 'cresting wave', which is a nod to the very early 4000s.Gorgeous! However, I sure wish RIC would go back to thicker upper horns on their bodies.

love Andy, the chesterfield kings and the empty hearts...
I got my Fab Gear family together for a group mug shot. The Candy Apple Purple limited run 4003 done by Andy Bubiuks Fab Gear is the most beautiful Ric I’ve seen.
A snowglo would be icing on the cake!!!I got my Fab Gear family together for a group mug shot.

I just need a 2018 SnowGlo and a 2019 Candy Apple Green (first run). Will they do something for 2026? Candy Apple Red?
'60s through '73 have the perfect size horns.Gorgeous! However, I sure wish RIC would go back to thicker upper horns on their bodies.
