Rickenbackers in New Zealand

Hello Fellow Kiwis,

Does anyone know who the rickenbacker dealer/distributor in NZ is?

I spoke to Dave at the rockshop, he said "There isn't a NZ one which is why (I think) there is little to no representation of them here in NZ. One of our guitar managers did have a source for them a while ago but that source has fallen through."

I'm sure i've seen a couple of new ones round though... Maybe they're imported. But i'd like to try before i buy.
