Ridiculous deal on Ampeg SVT-CL

I just looked on the Guitar Center used directory and there is an SVT VR for a similar price. It's pretty far away from me but I won't even bother asking about shipping if it's the same store.

I actually called them earlier today just for kicks to see if they were still trying to sell it and sure enough, they were more than willing to sell it to me.

Too many bad experiences will Ampeg and Guitar Center.

Wow. That's really lame. :rollno:

The SVT-VR that I found is in New Jersey. It's $100 more than the one that you mentioned. I've heard a couple of bad stories about Guitar Center shipping things -- particularly when it comes to packing things up. I'll just keep looking on eBay and the classifieds until I find something. It's probably not worth the potential headaches.
