I own a rat too. Its an lm308 modded rat 2. It sounds good with the band. But theres something about that old green russian big muff. I love that thing.
Here's mine , the Soundgear 1405 plays like butter and really cuts through in my band . Ampeg SVP-CL pre and fEARful cabs . This is the basses threads so just look at the bass please .
This is grandpa's rig. Don't know what happened to the drummer and the rest of his kit. He and grandpa were jamming and next thing we knew this is all that was left. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
have you checked the opposite wall- maybe a blotch on it the color of granpa's clothes?

I was in a Rush tribute band for about quite a while, (and a top-40 cover band) but currently my only gig is an original heavy metal band.

What is the deal with that red Rickenbacker? It looks enough like a real Ricky to me, but the headstock looks off from the rest of the group
I have an SKB rack case, and never had any problems with the head falling off, even through a really shallow tolex covered Traynor cabinet I use for practice. I do like to put the covers on top of everything, and my keys, phone etc. inside them. I had problems with the covers sliding off the case since they are so light, but I put a strip of velcro where they meet and it never happened again.
That is a completely stock Rickenbacker 4001C64 - basically the Paul McCartney model. It has a reverse peghead to "mirror image" Paul's bass, which is a lefty with a standard peghead.

Those are the 5th set of Taurus pedals I've owned over the years, and are by far my favorites.
The arpeggiator, programmable footwheel & user patches, and combination of real analog filters & oscillators under digital control make them a very powerful weapon indeed.
