Right hand to left hand hofner switch

Hello, I recently bought my first bass, a hofner ignition. I have another nut if necessary, is there a big slippage, or tonal problem with the G, and D having the extra room, if I just switch them? The new nut is straight, not angled. I could not find an exact left handed copy. I could use some guidance please. Thank you

thanks anyway, playing upside down is not really the same, I have played left handed electric and acoustic for twenty five years and have the muscle memory.
