I never saw much of his later work, but he was stellar in Glory. Of course, the problem was that so was everyone else in that movie... (Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington, Matthew Broderick). Some extremely compelling emotional scenes...
What?
"Homicide" was one of my favourite shows, with a great cast through and through, and yet Andre really managed to stand out.
He's an amazing presence, in a relatively small, yet significant role in "The Mist".
So, yeah, it was a real joy to see a completely different side to his range, in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine".

Braugher Of Power
He was one of my all-time favorite actors. He just had a way about him, a certain presence. He had a small role without much screen time in "The Tuskegee Airmen," but he commanded the screen nonetheless.
