Praying for an amazing man that brought a lot of people joy!
Crap.
Another dead hero.
It took three previous posts to be able to +1 this.

Praying for an amazing man that brought a lot of people joy!
Crap.
Another dead hero.

I don't post often, but I had to post for this.
Like all the greats, he was funny as hell, with a dead-on social commentary that accompanied his jokes.
He showed us how messed up we were.
"dumber than a second coat of paint". For some reason, that quote of his is stuck in my head.
He will be deeply missed.
The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? A Death! What's that, a bonus? I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should die first, get it out of the way. Then you live in an old age home. You get kicked out when you're too young, you get a gold watch, you go to work. You work forty years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement. You do drugs, alcohol, you party, you get ready for high school. You go to grade school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a little baby, you go back into the womb, you spend your last nine months floating...
...and you finish off as an orgasm.
- George Carlin, 1937 - 2008. You will be greatly missed.

It's a beautiful quote, ain't it? He's got countless more just as juicy.Haha, that was excellent!
I've never heard about him before this thread, but after reading that quote, I've better start checking him out.... Too bad he's gone.
R.I.P.

Carlin was my favorite comedian. Now who do I turn to for biting social commentary?
Jeesh!
Is it just me or does it seem like everybody is just dying?
