Jim Brown was a lot of things. Arguably the greatest football player ever and one of the greatest athletes. One of the first athletes to make the jump from sports to a respectable career in movies. An important voice during the civil rights era, as well as later on in his community--most notably when gang violence threatened to overwhelm LA. And he was arrested seven times for assault, mainly against women, and was once charged with rape. He was never convicted, but these incidents all occurred at a time when it was easier for famous men to get away with such things so...
